Obituary of Lois Wolf

Lois M. Wolf, age 89, of Tomahawk, passed away at Country Terrace in Tomahawk on January 2, 2018 under the care of Asera Care Hospice.

Lois was born on March 3, 1928 in Tomahawk to Hudson & Lydia (Kaufman) Mott. She was married to Harold Thompson in March of 1949. Together, she and Harold had 6 children. Harold and Lois lived in Milwaukee and Missouri before Harold died in 1974. After he passed away, Lois moved back to Wisconsin. She later married Phil Wolf in 1977. She and Phil lived in Illinois until they retired back in Tomahawk where they enjoyed living on the Wisconsin River.

Lois loved fishing and enjoyed her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lois is survived by 5 children – Jim (Sue) Thompson, Rothschild, Jill Thompson, Weston, Gail (Rick) Posner, Evergreen CO, Teri DeGrand, Green Bay & Thomas Thompson, Salem OR. She is further survived by 7 Grandchildren – Jamie, Joe, Jeff, Abby, Danielle, Deanna & Derek; and 5 Great Grandchildren – Garrett, Matthew, Josephine, Graham & Bennett. Lois is preceded in death by her husbands - Harold & Phil, daughter - Lori and brothers - Leon "Bubby" & Gerald "Cappy".

The Memorial Service for Lois Wolf will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Grace Lutherans Church. Pastor Mark Ziemer will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.
