Obituary of Alice M Douglas

Alice M. Douglas, 84, a longtime Tomahawk resident, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Tomahawk Health Services in Tomahawk.

Alice was born May 31, 1933 in Merrill to Walter and Elsie (Kline) Kahn. She was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Douglas on January 20, 1955 in Tomahawk. Alice had worked at Nick and Sons for a number of years before starting employment as a secretary for Owens-Illinois Paper mill.  She retired in 1988. Chuck and Alice enjoyed polka dancing and traveling.  She also enjoyed cooking, trips to the local casino’s, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Surviving Alice Douglas is her husband, Chuck, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services for Alice Douglas will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
