Beverly M. Cody, 95, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Milestone Assisted Living in Woodruff.

Bev was born December 30, 1921 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to William and Ida (Miller) Sullivan. She was married to Thomas J. Cody, he passed away on April 6th, 2000. She attended rural school in the town of Byron, Fond du Lac County and graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 1940. She attended technical college for 2 years and was employed in the Fond du Lac County Veterans Service Office for 10 years. Bev later worked for the Federal Government for 29 years in Fond du Lac, Madison, and Milwaukee with the Dept. of Agriculture, Veterans Administration, Social Security Administration, and the Dept. of Commerce.  Bev and Tom retired in 1985 and moved to Tomahawk.

Bev was an honorary member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Assn, Wausau Chapter, American Legion Auxiliary Bronsted-Searl Unit 93 in Tomahawk, VFW Burns Auxiliary #388 of Wausau, Town of Byron and Fond du Lac County Historical Societies, the Arbor Day Foundation, and AARP.

Bev was a huge Milwaukee Brewer Fan, she enjoyed traveling, bowling, feeding and watching birds, nature and being outdoors. She also played the piano and enjoyed Big Band music.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Colleen) Cody of Lake Tomahawk and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers (George and William), and a sister (Juanita).

Graveside Services will be held for Bev Cody at 11:00AM on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, Wisconsin.

Krueger Family Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
