Obituary of Jack Lechleitner

Jack Lechleitner, age 74, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at St. Mary Hospital in Rhinelander.

 

Jack was born on September 7, 1942, in Tomahawk, to Tony & Grace (Dahlberg) Lechleitner. He was married to Gloria Schepp on June 30, 1963 in Tomahawk. Jack worked for the City of Tomahawk as the water superintendent for 33 years. He was a member of the Tomahawk Fire Department for 15 years. Jack really enjoyed the outdoors, especially, hunting, fishing, boating and biking. He also loved archery, cross country skiing and traveling. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

 

Jack is survived by his wife Gloria; son, Michael (April) Lechleitner, of Rothschild; daughter, Elizabeth Johnston, of Chicago; and 2 brothers, Joel (Carol) Lechleitner, of Tomahawk & Jim (Diane) Lechleitner, of Missoula, MT. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Sarah & Matthew (Brittany) Lechleitner; and one great grandchild, Adeline. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry.

 

According to Jack’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
