My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the Schmit family during this time of sorrow. I have many fond memories of the Schmit family and their close bond with each other. Growing up it was an everyday sight the see Teds pulp truck drive by the farm on Hwy 86 either with a load of pulp headed toward the mill or headed out for another load. Rest in peace Mr. Schmit!

My heart is heavy as I join you in celebrating the life- and now life eternal- of Uncle Theodore. I imagine him sitting under a great, shady tree with my dad now, swapping stories of their youth. I will miss your dad but rejoice that he is in a place of peace and joy. My prayers are with you all now and in the days ahead as you all deal with so many sorrows of life. Peace and hope always, Diane and Estuardo

Great Uncle Ted was a wonderful human being who brought more light into the world than he took from it. I will always remember him smiling, with the classic trucker hat on. Come to think of it, I can barely picture him without it! I know my Grandpa JP took much joy from their relationship and that made me happy. He was a fun and hardworking member of the big loving family that I feel so lucky and proud to be a part of there in Tomahawk. He'll be missed, but know he's at peace now wherever he is. Love to all at this time. Jennie

Uncle Ted will always have a special spot in our hearts. He was a remarkable man who made a real mark on this Earth and we will treasure the wonderful memories of good times shared with him. Although he leaves a real void in our lives, he is celebrating with the Schmit Clan in heaven now!
Earth is such a continual "Good-Bye", Heaven must be an eternal "Hello"!

Your dad was the greatest. Too many stories for one lifetime, I expect he has them rolling on the floor in heaven.
I feel your loss but also know he did have a good life and it was time to go.
