Obituary of Harry G. Short

Harold “Harry” Short, age 71, of W8263 County Road CC, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family and under the care of Ministry Home Care and Hospice Services.

Harry was born on September 7, 1945 in Yuba, Wisconsin to Harvey and Esther (Conway) Short. He married Lucinda “Cindy” Shore on December 7, 1986 in Tomahawk. He grew up and attended schools in Wonewoc, Wisconsin, later attending Nashville College in Madison, Tennessee, and Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Harry loved music, fishing, woodworking, small engine repair, and landscaping. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Christ.

Harry is further survived by 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step son, David J. Collins, 2 great grandsons, Siblings, Bud, Tom, Jim, Bob, Margaret, Roy, Elna, and Lester.

A Memorial Service for Harry Short will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Krueger Family Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
