Lonn and Shelley and families:
Sharon was the epitome of the 'pass it on' attitude. She always had time to listen and advise anyone who needed help from business to deeply personal issues. She helped me and sooooo many others with life lessons on our journeys. She will never be forgotten by those she touched, and your family can be proud of her legacy of love and actions for others!

The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are people who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. Our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of grief.

I was honored to know Sharon and that I was able to spend some wonderful afternoons talking in her kitchen, eating everything she put in front of me with a gentle prod of "have you ever had..." and "this is so good, you have to try some." A short stop usually turned into all afternoon and possibly dinner. Those times are precious to me now and am so happy for those memories.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep all of you and Sharon in my thoughts and prayers knowing she is up in heaven making everyone feel welcome and loved.

In her later years, I couldn't always tell if Aunt Sharon Lamer was scolding me or embracing me.
Her severe demeanor belied her unrelenting conviction: Everyone should wake among the white pines against blue skies and be soaked in lake water during shoeless days.
And that nights after a fish fry should be spent by the bonfire with family, marshmallows and bug dope.
She was a queen of all that is summer.
And she taught us that we should love and forgive our parents.
And that our kids will teach as much if we would only listen.

Hi Family of a "Lovely Lady", I only had the pleasure of meeting Sharon in the last few years of her life; nevertheless, the "relentless drive & passion" she had to help the homeless & hurting will always be remembered! Thank you for sharing your Sharon with me & multitudes of many others! May she forever "shine like the stars"! :)

Sharon was a wonderful woman. She always baked tons of cookies for the annual Cookie Walk at Grace Lutheran Church. I enjoyed being with her and hearing about her life and what she was up to. I also knew Sharon through Eastern Star. She will be missed by many. She is now a Star which will be very bright - looking down on her family and friends. A very beautiful woman. You have my sympathy. Jane and Ken Brokaw
