Obituary of John A Graf

John A. Graf, age 64, of Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau with his wife, Mary, by his side.

John was born on February 21, 1953 in Ashland County to John and Wanda (Bagger) Graf. He graduated from UW Madison with a degree in engineering and started employment at Owens-Illinois Tomahawk mill in 1976.  He married Mary Hilbert on September 12, 1981 in Tomahawk.  John was employed as project manager at PCA in Tomahawk. He enjoyed raising and training golden retrievers, hunting, fishing and gardening.

            Sister,                     Jennifer (Jerry) Frei                         Janesville

            Brother,                    Paul (Mary) Graf                            also of Janesville

John is further survived by Mary’s brother and sister and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass for John Graf will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Fr. Louis will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Friday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and again at church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m.
