Obituary of Bertie Scholz

Bertie Scholz, age 67, of Tomahawk, passed away on May 20, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

 

Bertie was born on September 4, 1949 to Joseph Sr. & Anna (Steinman) Scholz. Bertie was currently employed as a custodian with the Tomahawk School District. Previously she worked in the environmental service department at Sacred Heart Hospital and also had been a machine operator at Northern Wire. Bertie loved to crochet and also enjoyed cleaning. She cherished her time spent with family, especially with her daughters, her sisters and her grandchildren. Bertie was a member of the Northwoods Vineyard Church.

 

Bertie is survived by her daughters- Lynette (Mike) Volkers, of Wausau and Lori (Jason) Mills, of Greenville, MI; 5 grandchildren- Keagan, Kyleigh, Courtney, Ryan & Kamdon; and her siblings- Celia Weber, Anna (LeRoy) Wilhelms, Teri Mohr, MaryLou Dean, Bernie (Geri), Fred (Peggy), Paul (Gayle), Jerry (Ruth), Joe (Dale), Art (Terry) & Dave. Bertie is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Darlene & JoAnn.

 

The Funeral Service for Bertie Scholz will take place at 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Nate Nelson will officiate. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.
