Obituary of Catherine Holm

On May 4, 2017 God received another angel by the name of Catherine Ellen Holm at the age of 59, surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy was born on June 11, 1957 in Racine, WI to William & Beverly (LaFever) Fumich. Cathy attended school in Racine & Kenosha. At a young age she was blessed to become a parent with three additional children to follow. Her role as a fun loving mother was felt by all who knew her as she had 44 years of experience. She was a brave, courageous & stubborn woman that was determined to prove her way was the best. She loved family gatherings, cribbage, fishing, shaking dice, music, a good cocktail and most of all, the joy and laughter her grandchildren brought her. In August of 1990 Cathy and her family moved from Kenosha to Rhinelander. That same month, she married her longtime significant other, Robert Holm. She and Robert really enjoyed what the Northwoods had to offer and taught their children what’s important in life.

Our mom, wife, nana, mara, sister, aunt and friend was the best we could asked for and our lives have been forever changed with her in heaven.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Robert B Holm of Rhinelander; her first born daughter, Stasha Shae Kramsvogel of Kenosha; her sons, T.J. (Heather) Kramsvogel and Jade (Heidi) Kramsvogel both of Eagle River, and her baby girl Shayle Michelle Berghammer (Nicholas Rogers) of Rhinelander.

She is also survived by her loving and cherished grandchildren, Zane, Dylan, Drew, Logan, Hannah, Madyson, Emmaline and Haven; her sisters, Billie Ann Keegan of FL, Holly (Don) Dorff of Little Chute, Robin Chick of Kenosha and sister in law Robin (Dave) Holm of IN; her only surviving brother Bill Fumich of FL and father Bill Fumich. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Ostrom, father and mother-in-law, Robert J. and Arlene Holm, brothers, John “Bird”, Gary, Jimmy, and Wayne, and one nephew Billy Dorff.

At Cathy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services held at this time but her family is planning a celebration of life to be held over her “Forever 28th” birthday this June.
