Obituary of Ricky Scheuermann

Richard W. “Ricky” Scheuermann, age 35, of Rhinelander, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at his home on April 28, 2017 under the care of Ministry Home Hospice.

Ricky was born September 21, 1981. At age three, Ricky was welcomed into the home of the Scheuermann’s. He was, shortly after, adopted—his new name reflecting the hearts of his parents, Peter and Beverly Scheuermann.

Due to physical limitations in his adult life, Ricky joined his current home Bethesda Germond House (formally, Horizons Unlimited) where he happily resided until his passing.

Ricky lived a life overpouring with love and joy. He graduated from Rhinelander High School and enjoyed jeep rides with his dad, clapping along to music, kissing babies, and eating any candy he could get his hands on.

Ricky is survived by his parents, Peter and Beverly Scheuermann; siblings, Peter Scheuermann, Bonna Lawrence, Barry Scheuermann, Rachel Wilson, Preston Scheuermann, SaraLee Ellenbecker, Ben Scheuermann, Scott Scheuermann, BillieJo Scheuermann, Terry Scheuermann, Bonita Claw and Carmen Zitlow; and 26 blessed nieces and nephews, and 39 (and counting) great nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his sister, Little Rachel Scheuermann and brother, Mathew Theilman.

A Celebration of Ricky’s love for life will be held, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:00AM from Grace Four Square Church in Rhinelander. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday morning from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
