The loss of Ms. Elaine Dotter a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are people who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of grief.

Dear Dotter family,
Please accept out deepest heartfelt sympathy in loosing Elaine. We will miss her dearly. We were blessed to meet Elaine through our dear friends Mike, Judy and Allison Flynn. We so enjoyed visiting with Elaine when we came to town. Elaine's stories, her amazing knowledge of a variety of things and her quick wit we will never forget. Elaine will live on in both of us. One of the things she had shared with us on a visit was a handmade rug at the base of her second level of her home. It was made out of clothes her brother wore while serving his time in the service, so many special parts of Elaine we were blessed to share with her.

Elaine regularly attended our chair yoga class. I was inspired by Elaine's active lifestyle and her involvement in the community. I enjoyed talking with her, and appreciated her gardening tips. She was an intelligent and beautiful woman who will be missed by many. God bless.

We remember seeing Elaine regularly at classes with Learning In Retirement at Nicolet College. I do recall that Elaine kayaked with us at McNaughton Lake; it was Oct 28https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fkruegerfamilyfuneral.com%2Ftribute%2Fdetails%2F1078%2FElaine-Dotter%2Fadd-condolence.html%23content-start, 2011. So she was still enjoying time on the water.

I have known Elaine for years. She was never short in telling stories about her hunting and fishing trips. I personally loved her canoe stories of local rivers and lakes. She was an incredibly intelligent woman with a passion for the outdoors. She will certainly be missed.

I first met Elaine in 1963 when she came to Minocqua to an Eastern Star meeting. She was a member and Past Matron of Forest Chapter of Eastern Star. Later she was a member of Mabel Chapter #181 OES of Rhinelander and presently was a member Eagle Chapter OES #217 of Eagle River. She was a dedicate member and worker and exemplified the principals of the Order.
She will be missed. My personal sympathy and that of Eagle Chapter to her family of their loss.

My prayers to the family of Elaine. She was a very wonderful person and I enjoyed riding to Eastern Star with her to Rhinelander and we made a trip to Medford one evening. Her sense of humor was one in a million and her knowledge she shared with us were wonderful from her life experiences and a joy to listen. I will think of her often when I attend Star or when I see a canoe on the river. She had a wonderful life and will be missed by many.
