Obituary of Helen E Theiler

Helen E. Theiler, 89, a longtime Tomahawk resident, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff.

Helen was born May 16, 1929 in Merrill to Hans and Emma (Waldburger) Nelson. She was married to Francis Theiler on June 27, 1953 in Tomahawk, he passed away in 2003. Helen had been a waitress in the Tomahawk area for over 50 years. She had worked at the Snack Shack, Roman’s, LaNou’s, Denny’s, and the Uptown Restaurants. She enjoyed bowling and had been a member of several card clubs. Helen was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Surviving Helen are her two children, Nancy (Norbert) Pintens of Rice Lake, and Phil (D’Arcy) Theiler of Arbor Vitae. She is further survived by three grandchildren - Katrina, Nate, and Hope and seven great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson - Peter, and 2 brothers.

A Memorial Mass for Helen Theiler will be held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Friday, Nov. 23^rd from 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass at noon.
