Obituary of Helen Bickett

Helen E. Bickett, age 91, of Tomahawk, passed away at her home on August 27, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Helen was born on July 12, 1926 in Tomahawk to Robert & Alice (Wright) Fish. She was married to William Chester Bickett, Sr. on October 14, 1945 in Indiana. He passed away in 1975. Helen loved camping, baking and knitting. She made socks and stuffed animals for all of her grandchildren. Helen belonged to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Tomahawk, where she enjoyed volunteering. Helen dedicated her entire life to her family.

Helen is survived by her children – Sheila (Jerry) Jach, of Tomahawk; Sharon (Greg) Bickett, of Missouri; William Jr. (Shirley) Bickett, of Tomahawk; Bobby Bickett, of Tomahawk; Mike (Angela) Bickett, of Marshall, WI; Roxanne (William Jr) Schlasinger, of Tomahawk; Rebecca (Don) Ziehme, of Weyerhauser; & Mark Bickett, of Rio, WI. Helen is further survived by 17 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren & 8 Great Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband - William Sr.; children – Walter, Betty Jean, Alice, Sherry & Ellen; and 2 brothers.

The Funeral Service for Helen Bickett is at 11:00AM on Friday, September 1, 2017 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, in Tomahawk. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 31 at Krueger Family Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 7:00PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.

Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery immediately following the service.
